Cliché I know. But someone was talking about their bucket list the other day and I realized I didn't have one. At least a written one. Everyone has goals and dreams and aspirations (and some people have a toilet bowl that's springtime fresh...sorry, family joke). But anyway, I decided to actually record some of mine. I won't put ALL of them on here. These are not listed in any particular order.
1. Marry the love of my life in the Portland temple.
2. Go back to Roatán, swim in the ocean and stay at West Bay.
3. Drive on the Scenic Highway through the Columbia River Gorge in a convertible.
4. Be considered a "good cook" by at least 3 people.
5. Record one of my songs in a professional studio.
6. Sew a dress.
7. Be a mommy.
8. Write a book that's at least 40 pages.
9. Memorize the Sis Hopkins routine and perform if for the family.
10. Take a picture with the love of my life at Hug Point after going to Bruce's Candy Kitchen and eating salt water taffy.
It's inspiring to make goals and have a vision (even if it is somewhat blurry) of the future. Life is beautiful; let's choose to be happy and look for the constant hand of God in our lives.
