Two things

1) The doctor told me that I have to get a shot every 14 days for 5 shots. I trust the doctor of course but I was curious. Being the ignorant person I am, I thought, "Well how serious is rabies anyway?" Well, I looked it up. And I quote: "Rabies, if left untreated, will always cause death." Haha, I laughed really hard. So I guess the shots are worth it.

2) Shots for dog bites are free in Chile, paid for by the government (if you get them during the day, not at midnight like I had to) because there is such an incredible number of dogs here that it would be ridiculous to expect everyone that gets bit to pay for their own shot. Wow. They need to come up with some sort of plan to control the dog population, don't you think?
