I spent my Saturday with 2 of my hilarious Chilean friends (and Holli and Abby of course!). We ate pizza at the mall (this was obviously in the arcade part of the mall) to start out the day.

We visited an ex-prison in Valpo. It was awesome...and a little creepy too. We also visited a WAY awesome cemetery (nice, positive locations huh?). Unfortunately photography was prohibited. But it was one of those tomb cemeteries that are always in movies. Pretty awesome.

My super awesome friend David (pronounced Dah-veed). He just got his mission call THIS MORNING to go to Argentina Buenos Aires West Mission. I'm so excited for him!
It was very liberating to walk out of the prison. It's weird to think that people were kept there and weren't allowed to leave and I could just come and go as I please. Yay for freedom!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE your posts and getting to see all the adventures you are going on. I'm really kind of jealous! It looks like you are having so much fun and are learning SO much! Enjoy your time there because all the experiences you take away with you are priceless.
