A carved face, an arch, together with Holli and Russell make for a good picture.

Arch at the top of the mountain!

One of the nights I was helping cook macaroni and cheese. I looked over at the stove just as the pot was about to boil over. Luckily I reacted so quickly that the pot didn't boil over...the expense was a very unpleasant burn to my pinky.

Friends in Chile, friends for life!

Let's not forgot that I got this week break in the first place because of Chile's Independence Day (September 18). There were flags everywhere. Maybe that's because everyone's patriotic or maybe that's because it's a law to fly a Chilean flag for Independence Day...

One way on the bus to San Pedro took 24 hours. A whole day. The bus stopped ONCE for a 15 minute break. This picture was taken half-way through the bus ride home. We had been on the bus 12 hours and were having a difficult time swallowing the fact that we were only half done. It was 1:30 in the morning.

Yay finally off the bus and back home in ViƱa. Well, that was the facade for taking this picture. The real reason was to get a photo of the couple in the background. They were sitting in front of us. Don't they make the perfect couple? The man has intense dreds and the woman has an intense afro. It's perfect!
